Rifle Paper Co.
For the revamp of the Rifle Paper Co. flagship store, we were invited to make some custom floating shelves to display some of their stationary. We had to do something special for the Rifle family since they have been a key figure and inspiration for many years.
The project consisted of the floating shelves, the idea was for them to be thin, yet be able to hide any kind of hardware, as well as support the products that would be displayed on them.
We tried something different for this project and embedded some brass stops into the shelves. Allowing the cards to sit at an angle.
This project had a special significance, the first project John ever worked on was for Rifle, this felt like going full circle on a stage of life. Like catching up with old friends and seeing the great work they have been up to after some time apart.
